A good quality well finished air pathway.
This is a well made and stylish wall vent to allow air to pass between rooms. It comes exceptionally well packaged to prevent damage. The “filter” is sturdy and is washable. It will mainly limit insects and other unwanted pests from traveling between rooms.
The depth of this wall vent is expandable and will fit 2X3, 2X4, or 2X6 studded walls. Maximum extension is 7-1/2 inches.
The primary use of this product is to help equalize the pressure between rooms as a result of an imbalanced HVAC system. This product fits between standard spaced studs in walls and allows air to pass from one room to the other.
Common issues when your HVAC (forced air heating/cooling) when it is imbalanced are door difficult to open or they may close on their own when the fan is on. If your builder skipped putting in a return into any room with a forced air vent you could have a problem. In addition, your system will not be running as efficiently as it should.
While very spendy, it is a good product. If it fits your budget, I would recommend this product.

Very nice
This turned out to be a lot nicer than I was expecting it to be. All metal construction and the grates are thicker than I thought they would be. It feels like a good quality build. The paint job on these is also perfect with no blemishes. It looks great.
Great water proof baffle – excellent HVAC vent
The quality of this wall vent is superb! It has two halves, and will fit various wall thicknesses. Grates have a great finish, and they are easy to install.
One thing I wanted to specify – the “filter” that is between the grates had me concerned. It looks like a standard HVAC filter in the photos. I was extremely impressed when I inspected it – it is NOT a filter, but a baffle. It is constructed of a plastic material that will be extremely easy to wash and re-use for years into the future. It is not a filter, and has flues that directly carry through one room to the next. It is extremely easy to remove and reinstall.
This baffle is the key element that makes this HVAC vent unique. Usually HVAC installs will “port the air” through the wall cavity with offset grates, to good the room secure and private. Sometimes you are unable to do that will smaller walls.
