Good, but not perfect
I bought this because I needed to vent air between two rooms. It’s made well. However, there are a couple nitpicky things that I don’t like. First, it doesn’t come with any white screws – they’re all black. So I used some white screws I had lying around. Second, I think it would be better if the two inner pieces (that go through the wall) screwed into each other, so it was more secure. Wall anchors are included, but they’re not useful because the screw holes are so close to the edge that there won’t be enough drywall to support the anchors. So be prepared to do a little “MacGuyver-ing”.
But it’s pretty decent, and does the job.

nice product. For those stating filter issues – this doesnt have a filter – the honeycomb thing is a noise/light damper if you are using it between two rooms.
High Quality Kit
I actually ordered the wrong size (my fault) and was about to return it as it was larger than my opening. My Brother-in-law (BiL) came over and told me not to return this kit as it was one of the best he had ever seen. He intends to cut a little more out of my wall and install it next week. So, while I do not have it installed yet, I take advice from my BiL seriously – he has helped me on many occasions with installation, ensuring I do not get electrocuted when I try to do something myself, etc. His words – the frame is high quality, sturdy and durable. The filter is thick with the more than is expected pathways to filter/circulate the air. I was also told once he installs this one, I might as well replace two other vents/returns…. except he will do the measuring. Oofta!
